A Few Words About Us

Lester JohnsonFaith Enterprises was founded by Lester Johnson in 1975 as a small engineering consulting firm. In 1980, the company began development of a Wafer Transfer Machine for the semiconductor industry. The Rapitran 1 was introduced a major industry trade show in Boston Massachusetts in 1981.

Today, Faith Enterprises is an industry leader in Wafer Handling Automation with over 2000 units worldwide. We are known for quality and reliability and we take our reputation very seriously. Over the years, we have focused on the long-term success of our business. To us, this means we never take on a project if we are not completely confident of the outcome. Unavoidably, an occasional project will encounter unforeseen difficulties, but we firmly believe that the extra time and cost to get the project done right is well worth the effort. Building a product that does not perform as expected is unacceptable to us. That may sound like an obvious thought, but it is certainly not common philosophy in today’s business world.

The company is currently managed by two of Lester’s sons. Erik Johnson and David Johnson provide a combined 40+ years of experience and are dedicated to the future of the company. Our promise to all of our customers is that we will maintain this level of commitment to quality and reliability as long as we are in business.

Sincerely,

Erik Johnson – Owner and Active Partner
